@moodyheching brought it to my attention that my tumblr was way out of date, but I have a good excuse, my new phone doesn’t have a good tumblr app so all of my great pics have to be emailed and then uploaded the good ‘ol fashion way. Also, I have been working a lot and have neglected to update this site which is dedicated to things I LOVE and am inspired by. It’s best to share the inspiration, right? hope you L-O-V-E these pics from December to January.
Yesterday i went to a cute party with @tiffanyyhopkins and @stylistshane. It was a collaboration event for Alexander McQueen and Barlas Baylar, a super fancy furniture designer. Guests were reminded not to sit or place drinks on the furniture. They made up for it with flowing champagne and wine.
The clothes were amazing. I have huge respect for Sarah Burton. She’s one cool chica. The McQueen woman is tall and skinny and a different kind of fabulous. The rest of you can buy a handbag or some cologne. I think my favorite was the black and gold number.
And the furniture was equally as amazing. The couch, the tall wood sculpture pieces and chandeliers were my favorite. A shop girl told me it costs something like $30,000. I’ll stick with my Jennifer Convertible for now!
The best part was meeting Kelly Cutrone. After being given a pep talk by Tiffany, I introduced myself because that’s what you do when you think someone is really cool and you admire them. Am I right? I believe I was tactful and made sure not to take too much of her time. She introduced me to her PR Director and said we should network. COOL!!!
